1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?


In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us, and information automatically collected when you use our Services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information.

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our Services. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Services, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Services. 2. PEPTIDE SEQUENCE DATA AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY


In Short: You retain all rights to your peptide sequences. We do not claim ownership, analyze, or share your proprietary data with third parties.

Data Ownership. All peptide sequences, modifications, and related data you enter into PepDraw remain your intellectual property. PepDraw does not claim any ownership rights to your sequences or generated structures.

Data Usage. We use your peptide data solely to provide the visualization service you requested. We do not:
Academic Use. PepDraw is designed for research and educational purposes. While we employ industry-standard accuracy for chemical structure rendering, users are responsible for validating all structures before publication, submission, or critical use.

Citation. If you use PepDraw-generated structures in publications, we appreciate (but do not require) appropriate citation of the tool.

Competitive Intelligence Protection. We implement strict internal controls to ensure your proprietary sequences are never accessible to competitors or used for competitive analysis.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. We use both session and persistent cookies for security and functionality purposes.

We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our Services for analytics and advertising purposes.


7. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?


In Short: If you choose to register or log in to our Services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Our Services offer you the ability to register and log in using your third-party social media account details (like your Facebook or Google logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, profile picture, and other information you choose to make public.

We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this Privacy Notice or that are otherwise made clear to you on the relevant Services. 12. ACCOUNT DELETION AND DATA REMOVAL


In Short: You can delete your account at any time, and we will remove your data according to the schedule below.

You may delete your account at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing support@pepdraw.com. Upon account deletion:

Legal Retention: Some information may be retained as required by law, such as payment records for tax purposes or records necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your account deletion is complete. If you have questions about the deletion process, please contact us at support@pepdraw.com.


13. AI AND MACHINE LEARNING DATA USAGE


In Short: Currently, we do not use your sequences to train AI models. If we introduce AI features, we will notify you and provide opt-out options.

Current Status: PepDraw does not currently use user-submitted peptide sequences to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Future AI Features: If we introduce AI-powered features in the future (such as peptide design assistants or property prediction models), we will implement the following policies:
  1. Free Tier Users: Sequences may be used for aggregate model training unless you opt out in your account settings
  2. Pro Tier Users: Sequences will never be used for training without explicit consent
  3. Enterprise Users: Complete data isolation with private model training options available

Advance Notice: We will notify all users via email at least 30 days before implementing any AI features that process user-submitted peptide data. Users will have the opportunity to opt out or delete their data before any AI training occurs.

Data Protection: Any AI training will use only anonymized, aggregated data patterns and will never expose individual proprietary sequences.


14. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES


Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected.

At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.

If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.


15. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?


In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
